I get very funny images in my head when I think about that headline 'street scientist.' What even is that?
A biologist standing on a busy sidewalk with an almost comical size breaker for people to throw change. Telling the crowd that "you too can see onion dna with your bare eyes" extracting it in awe of the crowd.
An astronomer who just lost it after they couldn't get grant funding, standing on the corner of a city with cardboard signs telling you all about the constellations you can't see with the same fervor of movie doomsday caricatures.
