One of the only Independent ads where everyone knew the skater didn’t land it. Instead he paid the price with a now infamous slam to the head which would have appeared on the cover of thrashermag‘s August 1997 issue until the editors deemed it “too raw” (see next post). The rail wasn’t even touched again until 2015 when Independent Team Rider Jack Fardell 50/50′d it, at which time had been modified with 4 additional stairs at the top.
