Did...did all of her calls work? Did she finally summon Cheren? Did her journey for enlightenment finally send her on the right path?

With the busy commotion going on about the city, it was rather common that she would see so many people going on about. Having had been in this lifestyles, there were different faces and all the more exciting. Especially with a con event going on about. Having had snuck inside to see how the battles were going about and possibly even manage to see if she could participate--. Much to her disappointment, she was a tad bit too late with that, she had to have signed up for that a looooong time ago. “Stupid advance registrations..”
Though, one good thing came out from this... There was this familiar face (or two)... What exactly was it that made him standout so much? Hmm. “Just where have I seen this face before..” Approaching him, she looked on over him in possibly the oddest way possible, just her way to make sure that her head wasn’t playing with her. Finally, getting a word out of her, she just had to ask the tie-wearing male. “You look familiar. Do I know you?”
:D
“What do you call a fish with no eye? Fsh.”

“Bianca, do you have any idea how sweaty this costume is making me?”
“I told you to dress lightly.”
“I didn’t think you would put me in this.... whatever you call this!”
“It’s a kigurumi, Cheren. Shouldn’t you know what they are called?”
“This doesn’t even fit right!”
“No, it’s fine. It’s supposed to be baggy. That’s part of what makes it cute.”
“Is it supposed to be insufferably hot too?”
“Will you stop complaining for one second? It’s only going to be for a few hours.”
“But what if people see me like this? People we know?”
“Who cares? They’re probably going to be dressed up too. It’s what people do at these things. Now come on! If we hurry, we can make it before Join Avenue gets to be too crowded.”

//tbh I love ot3s but could never rp them as I always see things go bad…but I do ship these guys in an ot3 lol. Though I also ship it with touya. I’m unovashipping trash /is shot
Yeah they gotta be functional and that's almost difficult unless things really click well. I've roleplayed some p successful ones, mostly with theblackandwhitedreamer and epigrammataincrimen with my whitney-- so it's not necessarily impossible. uvu

N hoped he'd chosen correctly. He'd asked the local pokemon for ideas, but they'd known as much on the subject as he did, which was to say very little. And he wasn't looking forward to this, not in the least, which made it even more nerve-wracking.
But this was why he came home, wasn't it? Part of it, at least: trying to make amends, trying to stop avoiding everyone from Before, regardless of how much he was sure they must hate him. (Touya hadn't hated him. That in itself amazed N. He owed it to Touya to at least try to mend whatever might need mending between him and his childhood friend.)
Zed had refused to let N go alone, so the Zoroark had adopted his usual human guise. It was bad enough that N had accidentally encountered his old rival--and at least he'd had some old teammates with him in case things went badly. But going to a gym to meet a Gym Leader? No way he was letting N out of his sight. He'd even left his backpack at the castle ruins so he'd be sure to have full range of movement. "Are you sure about the apple?"
"No," N said, "but he's a teacher, too, isn't he? Teachers are meant to receive ... apples." It even sounded absurd. "It's a very nice apple."
Which it was. He'd been very particular in choosing it. Tracking down just the perfect one had taken the better part of two days. It was important that it not just look delicious, but taste that way, too, and that had required getting advice from quite a number of pokemon. Even if it wasn't the right sort of gift for an apology, hopefully Cheren would still enjoy it.
"Yeah, an apple." Zed made a face. He sure wouldn't want to be handed some common fruit. "Well, whatever. Your choice."
By the time the reached the steps of the Aspertia Gym, N had to actively remind himself not to worry the stem off the fruit. After gathering his courage and opening the door, he switched to carrying the apple in one hand so he could busy his fingers with the puzzle at his hip, instead.
Thankfully, the gym sounded largely deserted. He'd chosen to arrive on a weekend to hopefully avoid crowds of students, and that seemed to have paid off. Now, so long as Cheren himself was actually around. N wandered past the locker banks, Zed trailing behind him. He gnawed at his lip. "A-ah, excuse me!" he called through into the classroom beyond. "I'm looking for Cheren?"
