Writing Prompt #3

Prompt: Stop the clock. What time of day is it? What are you usually doing at this time of day? Do you do this at the same time each day?

It's currently 5:54 pm. It's evening of course (hence the pm). Usually I'm cooking dinner at this time and it's the time I try to cook dinner every evening. Since it's Friday, I'm not cooking just yet since I stay up later on the weekend since I don't work on weekends. I'm normally a creature of habit so Monday thru Thursday, dinner by 615 to 630 pm. On Friday thru Sunday, all bets are off lol. Maybe I'll cook, maybe I won't.

Writing Prompt #2

It’s time for the next one.

Prompt: What can’t you leave the house without?

Like most people, I’ll say my phone. Unlike most people, it’s not because I need to be accessible at all times. (Don’t even get me started on the fact that we as a society are WAAAAAY to accessible as is). No, I need my phone for music and books. I need to be able to put in my earbuds and... detach (for lack of a better word) from the world around me. There are times where I get so inundated with questions and comments and just noise that I need an escape. My phone is that escape. And I know, what about iPads and Kindles and other tablets. Well, those aren’t as convenient to ME as my phone. Plus, who wants to pay for unnecessary data plans anyway lol.

Writing Prompt #1

So I decided this year, I'd write more. Even if it was something super quick. So I got a book of prompts and I'm starting. Feel free to join me if you like @love2hulksmash 😊

Prompt: Look up at the sky? What's the weather like today?

The sun is out, the sky is fairly clear, with just small strips of clouds, not the fluffy kind. There is a chill in the air, but not too cold, not like December in New York would be. It smells like winter, which some people would say is a weird thing to say, but it does. Smells like cold air, old Christmas trees, and having the heat on lol. There's no wind blowing right now, but that's liable to change in a heartbeat, Virginia weather being what it is. All in all, it's a beautiful day and a great way to start the new year.
