Learned how to easily make clear gesso and now priming some boards to stretch paper on. The other side of the big board is coated with the rest of a tinted test batch. So it's blue. Kinda wish I'd waited for the clear batch so that It'd be pretty. When it comes to wood grain I'm all for varnish or stain. I die a little inside when I see beautiful wood furniture being painted and become tacky DIY crap furniture. Cannot wait!
