Despite only being half-giant, Cliff had managed to earn enough respect among his clan to earn the position of chieftain - the giant equivalent of a human king - and he had led his people to many prosperous battles. Upon nearing a village, however, the people had decided that they would rather pay tribute than fight, so they had sacrificed one of their own to appease the giants. That is how the half-giant man, one who stood at about thirteen feet tall, found himself in a clearing just outside the village with two of his men behind him, ready to protect their chieftain if the time came. When a figure could be seen exiting the village, the half-giant looked in their direction and raised a brow. “Are you the sacrifice?”
