it's been my major headcanon that Fitz got Simmons into Doctor Who, and one year she bought him a little mini-TARDIS because it was what bonded the two of them together, and that's why Fitz has it on his headboard (there may have been a night watching a certain episode with a gas mask child that made Fitz scream, but that's not talked about, shh)
