 Today is talking about essentially the same thing as yesterday. Developing speed. This time we be talking about string crossing.

 I focus primarily on the octave shape using a traditional chromatic lick. Using a pattern such as this lick in the video. You practice licks in the same pattern as playing it slow until you can nail it at that tempo, then boost the tempo up slowly but surely. 

 But practicing the same lick the same way over and over again, you gotta vary it up like I've shown you in this video. But no matter what the rhythmic variation is, make sure you can play it at the given tempo before you move up to the next tempo. Till next time.

 Todays lesson talks about playing triplets and string crossing with you right hand whilst playing with three fingers. Triplets are pretty easy to play. Just watch the video.

 String crossing goes kind of hand in hand with my talk of economy picking from yesterday, except a little different. I'm not talking about going from one string to the next string above or below it. I'm talking about jumping over strings. You need to be very cautious when playing with this technique simply because of the dangers of sounding unwanted strings. But I explain it pretty easily and hope you all get it and love the lesson.
