The year was 2016. I was exiting middle school and entering high school. The kick of watching video game YouTubers scream themselves silly at FNAF was starting to get tired, and I needed an antidote for my worries about both entering 9th grade and the world at large. So I scrolled through the video catalogue of those same YouTubers and found a story based, non horror game that seemed like it was exactly what I was looking for.
A RPG named Undertale.
Its music, characters, and writing most of all charmed me…and ten years after its release, here I am. A fan of not only Undertale but Deltarune as well, and everything else Toby Fox has done over the years. I’ve graduated high school and college in the years since, gone through all sorts of growth and gained all sorts of fixations. But despite everything, I’m still me, and I still enjoy these games with all my heart.
The quote that’s always stuck with me is “take care of yourself kid, cause someone out there really cares about you”. I needed to hear it before entering such a tumultuous period of growth and friendship, and I’ve carried it with me ever since.
Happy 10th anniversary, Undertale. Here’s to another decade of hopes, dreams, and determination ❤️
Just in time for the anniversary, I’ve felt an upswing in my ambition to be here and write for the first time since the start of this very chaotic summer. I want to keep writing with old friends and start writing with new ones if possible! So I’m gonna try to put myself out there a bit more than I had in the past, try to focus on being here to write more to celebrate the anniversary. We’ll see how it goes! Hopefully people haven’t given up on me lol
So yeah, happy 10th anniversary to one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played. While we’re at it, happy 4th anniversary of Deltarune Chapter 2 as well! Even after the release of the 3rd and 4th chapters this one has continued to enamor people, myself included. Here’s to four years of existence for this crazy salesman that we’ve all grown to love 😁

Hello everyone! My Spamton fixation has returned in full force for no reason at all lol, but I’m not complaining, cause that means I have the urge to come back here and reply to things! If life doesn’t get in the way I will be on in a couple of days to get to everything, or maybe even later on tonight when I get home from college if I’m not too tired 😁
I’ve been thinking about doing a small little event here lately. Nothing huge again just yet like with NEO, I’m not going to tempt the fates again 😂 But I would like to do something a little different for a couple days! I have two ideas, and if you’d like you can either reply to this post or IM me which one you prefer:
This one would be sooner, lining up with Halloween and only lasting a day or two (relatively lol). It would involve interacting, both in threads and asks, with a world where a different Addison got swayed in by Gaster/Mike and puppet-fied, whereas Spam/White stayed a normal Addison who runs an odds and ends shop. Leaning towards it being Clem/Orange cause I feel like that reversed dynamic between them would be interesting!
The other one would happen for about a week or two in early November, and it would be a look into the past at Celebrity/Big Shot Spam! My version of him, at least. Muses both new to my blog and old would be free to start up threads to interact with him, and of course asks would definitely be welcome. This one is one I’ve wanted to do for a little while now, and now seems like a good time, but don’t let that sway your opinion!
So yeah! Those are my ideas. I know I could just start a poll but I’m a little afraid to for some reason lol. So please let me know what you think whichever way you’d prefer! Needless to say, hopefully college will be nice and allow me to balance these little events with life and wrap them up in a timely matter *cough TheNEOEventLasting6Months cough*

Hello everyone! It’s been a few days, and considering my big post about finals a while ago I’m sure you guys know why. Despite my finals I’ve been able to maintain a somewhat steady presence on here, though. Unfortunately, for this final week that’s going to have to change.
I realized last night that I am WAY behind on my last two projects-my screenplay only has a handful of pages done and I haven’t even started my Philosophy paper (at least that one’s not due til the end of the week). This is no one on here’s fault, nor do I regret trying to be here when I can. But for the sake of getting everything done and done well in a timely manner, this is me going completely offline until I am done with my assignments. I may pop on for an ask there and an IM here, but unless that’s happening I’ll be completely offline while I finish up the semester.
I do spy a couple of times this week that I could come back here briefly, but my work is going to come first. If I feel I’m in a good spot then I’ll be back for a little while, if not then I’ll stay offline. Please be patient with me while I finish my assignments and the current college semester; afterwards Christmas events will begin in earnest! I’m excited that I can actually do Christmas stuff with this guy this year lol 🎄
That’s all I have time to say tonight, I have work early in the morning…again 😮💨 It is the holidays after all. I hope you all have a good week while I’m gone; the Christmas stuff will be all the more exciting when I do come back after all of this, I think! See you all soon!
I’ve decided I’m going to reply to threads in the morning; there’s a couple event-prep related things I need to write and I don’t want to start replies and then not be able to finish them in one go. But! To make up for that, here are a couple of headcanons I’ve thought of for Spaul recently! And once again, thank you all for the Halloween interactions yesterday 😊 I loved them all!
Now onto the HCs…
So Eileen’s @hxzelwallflower nickname of [Hazelnut] came mainly from her URL…but recently I realized Spaul has no in universe way of knowing that lol. I initially thought that he got it from her hazel hair and eyes but then thought: “No! You know what? He probably just looked through the source code and saw the URL when he was having trouble sleeping one night and “hazel” stuck with him”! Because Spamton as a character is just aware of the fourth-wall like that 🤣 Just don’t expect him to admit to that being where it got it from, what with his awareness suppression and everything.
NEW (from like a month ago lol) SPAMTON’S SHOP ANIMATION ROLL UP ROLL UP (cw for a lot of loud sounds one right after the other towards the end if you’re sensitive to that though). Honestly the voice work is amazing, it would probably be Spaul’s new VC if NiftyTable’s take didn’t hit that “gremlin voice” spot for me. Plus the fact that it’s not a direct adaptation of the script definitely endears it to me too 😆 But that’s not the headcanon lol
I noticed both shop animations include Spamton constantly switching between normal body language and acting out the body language of his voice clips, and while that is indeed uncanny and cool looking that doesn’t really work in an RP setting. But after this second animation, I have decided that whenever Spaul’s voice clips are particularly long (i.e “[[amazed at this amazing transformation? You too can]]”) he does indeed sort of jerkily, like a puppet being pulled by strings, get forced into acting out whatever the body language of that voice clip would be while his lenses go dark. The alternative is him standing there dumb, glaring at his throat while it plays, and that’s not nearly as fun 😄
I feel like it serves a little reminder that he can be unsettling as well as goofy lol! Imagine that happening in the middle of him talking to Eileen, as it very well most likely has in the past. Poor girl 😅
Finally, here are a few songs I associate with Spamton/Spaul that no one else seems to! Or very few people if that. With explainations!
Step Right Up by Tom Waits. This song is literally just a bunch of advertising jargon strung together with no rhyme or reason, some of it flat out contradicting each other or suggesting the product is harmful. And of course there’s the one moment where the speaker snaps about heartbreak lol. All of that over a very city slicker instrumental! Think of this as a non-fan song Ad Infinitum lol, it just keeps going. Check it out!
Let’s Get This Over With by They Might Be Giants. Once the second verse hit it was all over: “Even when you’re out of work you still have a job to do…(a few lines later) I’m talking to myself even when I’m saying ‘you’”. The bridge as well, which calls to mind his speech glitch. This one’s more about the vibe then all of the lyrics, but definitely check it out too!
The Other Side from the Greatest Showman. IT’S LITERALLY A GUY MAKING A DEAL WITH SOMEONE. WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED 🤣 I always end up channeling Spam when I’m singing this song to myself anymore
