Some new rpg character portraits.

Sara and Helme are couple of gal pal mercenaries.

Vurron studies alchemy, had near fatal encounter with a prasaan.

Alain is a scholar who studies old elven stuff. They found out about an old elven ruin that they want to go check out.

Darun handles the logistics of the expedition for Alain.

Drafra does the negotiating with the insectoid queen on whose territory the ruins happen to be.

Hirro is a fighter and a lifelong friend of Ziraflem who takes care of the animals on the expedition.

In the latest p&p rpg, Grace the human meets an insectoid for the first time, asks them: "So what does it feel like having a carapace? Is it like having an armour on all the time?"

Drafra the insectoid looks at her for a moment with their unblinking eyes: "I don't know. What does it feel like having all your meat and organs hanging out of your support structures? Doesn't it hurt?"

Grace: "Umm, no, not really. Well unless you bump into something, like corners, furniture, daggers.."

Drafra: "That's something I've never even thought of, your flesh just gets squished by everything all the time- hrrr, I think I'm going to have nightmares."

Third part of Valra’s p&p rpg story has begun. Valra and Rivalchanar are on a boat, headed for the city Folas was sent to. Some notable peeps this far:

Brum is the cook, towering man with many muscles and few words.

Captain Keslata doesn’t care much for formality. He is good company.

Glasha is one of the younger ship workers. Took a liking to us and looks after us first timers on the ship. He cuts his own hair it seems.

Bookkeeper Sate works at the home port of the ship, pictured also his seeing-eye bat. We planned some strengthening of communications between our fort and the port when Valra gets home.

Dregu is another of the younger ship workers. Being still ‘light weight’ is a touchy subject to him. (light weight for an orc, he is still more built than Valra and Rival put together)

More people from the third chapter of Valra’s adventures:

Healer Huidas is a wood elf from Dhemean. They are working on getting Rivalchanar back to action.

Scout Maeldor is a shapeshifter from Valra’s home fort. We did some secret missions here in the city together. She’s also kinda done with all this.

Commander Fardaak is in charge of the city’s military stuff. She’s an old student of Kulrook’s from way far back.

Merellien is a fire elf famous for his looks, charm, and romantic exploits, of which he releases books about.

Henan and Nokra are Fardaak’s right and left hands, in charge of most of the formalities and paperwork. Pictured also Henan’s seeing-eye animal, something between a rat and a hedgehog.

So I don't have a proper writing project going on, but here is a piece from the small text adventure game I've been making as a gift for GF

You slowly come to your senses. You're sitting on a chair.

It's dark around you.

Your body aches, mostly your head. Trying to hold your aching head you notice that you're tied to the wooden chair. Your eyes slowly bring the surroundings to focus.

Small glow of light from behind you illuminates the dark room a bit. In the dim light you can make out some shelves besides the walls and crates strewn about, it seems to be some kind of a storage room.

The air smells damp and slightly of mold. You don't hear anything around.

You see a wooden door in the wall in front of you. It looks sturdy.
