BLESSED
As much as I can whinge and complain about this job and how furious it can make me etc all of that… I have to acknowledge how lucky I really am.
I have a job that I can just up and go wherever I want, whenever I want. The freedom is unbelievable, I think you get a rush of excitement when you first start and realise the potential but once you have been doing it for awhile you start to take it for granted.
Normal Job: Most people if they hate where they work/what they do would need to give at least 2 weeks notice, then theres the fear period they have to go through when they are without a job and looking, endless interviews, trials etc. Once they get their new job that’s it, that’s where they have to stay. You have to put in for leave if you want to take a holiday and can only be away for a certain amount of time.
Stripping: You don’t like a club/want to go somewhere, you just leave, Give notice if you want and are respectful definitely but really you can leave just like that no problem. Never having to worry about finding a job and getting hired, strip clubs are everywhere and always need dancers. No worrying about money, always financially stable. No interviews and bullshit, some places you may have to audition but pretty much you can walk into a club and get hired. We can holiday whenever we want for as long as we want and return to our club whenever.
Pretty amazing. Working for ourselves, making our own decisions of where and when is going to benefit us the most. Holidaying and making money! So good. We work for ourselves but we still have to work. The downside is the short time frame we have but I wouldn’t trade that in for 40+ years sitting at a desk, if you stay goal orientated and save MOST of your money, options are endless for your future! I think we all complain about our jobs no matter what they are but to be able to acknowledge the true, amazing benefits helps put into perspective why you do it, when you are sometimes unsure.
