April 11, 12 1993 - Lincoln Center - Broadway Cares Benefit Concert Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by George Furth, choreography by Michael Benne...
YOU GUYS ITS THE OBC OF COMPANY REHEARSING FOR THEIR REUNION CONCERT IN 1993. I’m sorry, I literally am at a loss for words. There are a few clips of the concert on Youtube, and I’m still holding out for a full length video of the concert to be uploaded, but in the meantime, this video is fantastic. It shows the cast rehearsing in the rehearsal room at Lincoln Center and on stage at what looks to be the Vivian Beaumont. You have the original trio singings ‘You Could Drive a Person Crazy’, Elaine Stritch singing ‘The Ladies Who Lunch’, Beth Howland singings ‘Not Getting Married’, and the whole cast singing ‘Company’. There’s also clips of rehearsals for the opening scene, and of the night of the performance. It’s so exciting.
Elaine Stritch in ‘September’ by Woody Allen (1987)
look at this picture!!! just LOOK at it. it’s elaine stritch at her final show at the carlyle, and bernadette peters, liza minnelli and tony bennett came to see her.
I first met Elaine Stritch in 2002. She was about to open in her one woman show, Elaine Stritch at Liberty, at The Old Vic. The show had already won plaudits on Broadway and would go on to win Stritch a Tony Award. Shamefully, I had not heard of the 78 year old star who was about to take London
So so beautiful.

Elaine, I love you.
SHIT! does anyone have that elaine stritch picture set/quote where she’s talking about how everyone is dying everyday and she is getting older everyday and what else has she got to do except live?
or something like that? it’s my favorite elaine stritch quote EVER.
