The Tumblr Open is a non-elimination tournament. That means that even if you get destroyed for four matches in a row, you will still get to play and you will play against people like you. Again, if you have never played the game before, you will eventually be matched against players like you. And, hey, Strive has high damage so you'll get there pretty quick!
The point of this event is not to find out who is the best, it is to get you matches against other people of your skill level. Maybe we can make a finale of the two best players battling it out, but we would do that to build community, not to stroke anyone's ego.
This community is wonderful. It's small enough that we all learn each other's names and get to watch each other grow. It's truly unlike anything I've ever experienced before, and I'm honored to facilitate. We'd love to have you join our little community and share in something we all love!
