Since I was talking about it today, let’s go with Yersinia pestisaka the plague.

Yersinia pestis is a coccobacillus bacteria that’s capable of infecting both humansand other animals. The bacteria is thought to have originated in the steppes of central Asia. In human hosts, Y. pestis can present the distinct sets of symptoms, depending on where in the body the infection is located. The bubonic form results from infection in lymphatic system, the septicemic plague form results from infection in the blood, and the pneumonic formresults from infection in the lungs; septicemic and pneumonic forms are rarer manifestations than the bubonic form. Y. pestis is most often transmitted through the bites of infected fleas, but can also be transmitted person-to-person through the inhalation of infected droplets from sneezing and coughing. This form of transmission is especially seen in the case of pneumonicplague.

There were three known black plague pandemics, the Plague of Justinian, the Black Death, and the Third Pandemic. The Plague of Justinian affected the Eastern Roman Empire, and lasted from 541-542 AD. The Black Death affected the Mediteranian, Europe, and parts of the Middle East, and lasted from1346 to 1353. The Third Pandemic spread worldwide, and had a large impact in Asia, lasting from 1855 to 1959. A vaccine for Y. pestis.was developed in India during the Third Pandemic, by medical researcher Waldemar Haffkine.

Hi! I ended up reading through this blog last night. It's really interesting! I have a question about Yellowfang. In Yellowfang's Secret, it's revealed that she joined the medicine cat den because she had a ~special power~ (hyper-empathy) that allowed her to feel the pain of others, including animals that weren't cats. Since this was integral to her character (despite, you know, not being mentioned for almost a decade), how will it be handled in the redux? Thank you!

What special power? Yellowfang never had special powers. Nope. Everything is fine. Shame they never wrote a Special Edition for her. Oh well. I’ll just have to expand on what character we got in the first arc.

i used to hide in the school library in middle school when no one was around to read star wars books, because i was scared of getting teased about it and liked spending my lunch in the library more anyway?

i tend to be unreasonably angry about most all “hero must go away from everyone forever because they are changed.....” endings because a) everyone knows you’re trying to emulate j.r.r. tolkien, and b) only he did it well. and it still makes me cry

Have you considered any Bon Jovi songs for him/him and Mabel? Something like “Bounce”? Stan feels like a Bon Jovi sort of person
