Today is the annual company event of my husband’s company - with wags and kids. We go climbing. God, I’m too old for this kind of stuff. Help…
Canada
Here we are! We arrived today and I'm so excited...BTW, I used the flight to watch Kingsman as well as Pride. I liked Pride more, for obvious reasons. It is still on my mind and I'm still thinking about it... Good for us, we escaped the f****** heat at home - like 38 degrees?!? In Berlin? Since when? Here are only about 20 degrees and this is so much nicer ;-)
TV Shows
ceywoozle tagged me ;-) Thank you!
I just (2 months ago) made a list of my Top 10 TV Shows.
Therefore, I will change the meme slightly into the shows I am currently watching:
1. Revenge
2. Orphan Black
3. Mr Selfridge
4. Luther
5. Breaking Bad
5. Mord mit Aussicht (German TV Show)
6. Der Tatortreiniger (German TV Show)

So, I'm mentally preparing for my anual nightmare a.k.a. my husband's christmas party, where he invites all his employees' wives and children.
Today, we get an additional thrill due to the fact that his partner's wife has her due date for the birth of her child on Monday. So she is more than pregnant and I expect her to get into labour when we arrive at the christmas party location, which is in the middle of nowhere. I have to drive 45 min to the office and then a bus will drive us another 2 hours to the location, where we will stay of course over night. So, I have to spend a whole afternoon, evening, night and morning with people I realy don't like and who don't like me either. Isn't that great?
Funny thing, my own office christmas party is also today, which I obviously don't attend. I hate these even more, so I am a bit glad, that I cannot come. Unfortunately, I already know that my CEO will announce his leaving from the company by the end of the year (which is in 3 weeks) and I am really sorry to miss all the surprised/ shocked faces of my colleagues, who don't expect anything like that.
Bryan Adams: Reckless - 30th Anniversary Tour
Tonight live @ O2 World Berlin
I'm really curious as I just accompany a dear friend, who highly recommended his music as well as his concerts...
This week is going to be a true nightmare...We have our year-end closing and my boss is sick as hell with something very infectious. So, he's in the office to pamper our financial auditors and we are afraid that we will catch whatever he has.
At once, we had a security/ health audit this morning and apparently nothing works correctly and a lot of stuff is missing and I have to send at least 3 colleagues to two different workshops and I am wondering why I am suddenly responsible for this kind of sh**. Currently, I hate everyone in the office.
Furthermore, my car had to get it's annual check and I had to spent a lot of money (for nothing, exepct oil).
And finally, on friday will be the funeral of my husband's grandma.
That's a really depressing week.
Tag!
We’re gonna play a new game called Top 10 TV shows because there’s one for films, so I’d like to do one for TV shows. Write down your top shows and then tag 10 friends to do the same!
Thank you, ceywoozle, for tagging me. I'm sorry for being so slowly...
In the order, I watched them here are my shows:
1. The Nanny (I watched it, when I was a teen)
2. Ally McBeal (It was horrible to watch Calista Flockart starving herself, but Robert Downey Jr. ...)
3. Gilmore Girls (I was in my twenties, when I watched it and could neither identify with Rory nor Lorelei, but it was perfect)
4. Weeds (Mary-Louise Parker!)
5. The Good Wife (Josh Charles!)
I won't name Sherlock, because I don't count it as a typical TV show, but it is definitely one of my favourite.
I constantly try to find shows, both my husband and I like. So far we watched Medium, Game of Thrones and Orphan Black (and of course Sherlock) togehter.
So, I definitely prefer a female leading role. Otherwise, I just won't like it that much, see Breaking Bad (which is good, but nothing more) and True Detective (which I didn't really like).
