This is my set for my stop motion brick film for college. My boy begged me to do lego Minecraft... I almost feel like I live in a Minecraft world anyway so I was happy to oblige!😂 I am using overhead lighting at the back of the house where there isn’t much natural light (so I can control the lighting and film different sections at different times & days). I have also two clip on spot lights to add extra light flexibility. I decided to use my iPad with Stop Motion Pro and iMovie apps as I don’t have a Mac at home and these apps work really well for me to film and edit in. As I don’t have an iPad tripod mount I have made one out of a phone mount, cardboard and tape! It works well enough but I could do with a separate trigger for extra stability.

Finished my Textiles module. Great to learn some new seams as all I’ve used before is a basic joining seam with my machine at home!

My shoe design project for college is coming together. Glad to get rid of it... shoe design is not my thing! I’m looking forward to getting back to animation... must finish the brick film for my Oliver!

Foundation Art Diploma final piece. A project about capitalism and money being a social construct. Exhibition space consists of laser cut $100 dollar bills, screenprint $100 bills, plaster cast gold leafed pound coins, an led wire sign and hand written theorists quotes on bank notes.

These images were taken as part of my photography workshop on my Foundation course at Strode College. I had to take a series of photos that would then be joined together in photoshop creating a Hockney inspired joiner. I experimented with having my model move and changing the opacity to create the shadowing effect on the second one to add a sense of movement to the photo.

Plaster head sculpture attempt 1. The plaster warmed as it settled due to the exothermic processes occurring inside and within a few hours the mixture had hardened, where I then removed it from the latex mould and began applying layers of shellac to seal and help darken. After several layers I then applied and carefully removed black zip finisher to give my head a weathered appearance.
