@strodestabbings came to plot. Came to die.

HOW long had it been since he had heard the call of his mother? The urge to KILL was ever-present but his methods of dispatching intruders had been forcibly altered. The Revenant had watched RUSTED metal hooks pierce through flesh dozens upon dozens of times but it never felt RIGHT. 

The call of Crystal Lake beckoned him home, although this place was convincing. MASSIVE metal gates were on the new walls surrounding his lake. Robust hooks had sprouted from the earth. Machinery LITTERED the camp grounds (but none of those things were ever in the same place from day-to-day).

Those who INTRUDED on this land felt his machete carve into the meat of their bodies, endured the hooks and were taken into the SKIES. The killer formerly known as JASON VOORHEES stalked one of them now. He could hear the voice of the monstrosity which watched over the realm, it told him she was nearby. One day, he would KILL the thing which spoke to him.

Carter tilted his head at her for a moment. Was she... Being serious? No, she couldn’t be.

“Oh... Oh no!” He would have feigned a guilty of concerned expression, but given the lack of movement in his face he decided it wasn’t worth the effort. “I can’t believe that people have died, here of all places, Miss Strode!” 

Honestly what was she expecting him to do? Just suddenly break down and apologise for everything he’d done? To just suddenly stop killing and deal with a very displeased entity? It was laughable, in fact, that was exactly what he did.

“Good! And I hope that they continue to die,” he laughed, trying not to get too hysterical as he went. “I don’t beat people with a spiked stick because I want them to take a little soothing nap! I am a Killer, Miss strode, and I will continue to do just that until I have a good reason not to-- And are you capable of giving me a good enough reason to stop? I’d assume not... But you’re welcome to try!”

They sat down together at the campfire, Dwight allowing her to sit between his legs and resting the back of her neck against his chest; both arms wrapped around her neck while he leaned against the log behind him.

He didn’t know when but their bond had become very strong and he felt like he needed to keep her safe, not as a friendship but he felt like he had to take care of her and make sure she made it out alive, just like a father would like to know their daughter would go back home safe.

Noticing how she was beginning to doze off, Dwight smiled and pecked a kiss on the top of her head, not moving away and closing his eyes. “Get some rest,” he whispered. “I’ll wake you up when we’re leaving”

Michael tilted his head at her carefully. Was he supposed to be upset by that? It was somewhat closer to a compliment, seeing as he had no intention of stopping his murderous ways.... Especially not while Laurie was still breathing. And she was right here giving him an opportunity to do so.

Only here there was little point in killing her other than to just cause her suffering. That in itself was something he would still enjoy, but the realization that he couldn’t actually kill her for good here made him feel like he’d been tricked. He had joined to be able to kill her for eternity but if she was only going to come back well... The satisfaction would run dry eventually... Although there was another way he could try to ‘kill’ her.

For now he just stared at her, eyes barely visible through the holes of his mask as he waited for her to get to the point. He might not have been armed for the moment but there was a fairly obvious change in his body language as he turned to face her. He still hadn’t used his hands to choke the life out of her and it was so tempting to do.
