My team and I just launched a 8-channel complex digital marketing campaign to start August that required about 2 hours of testing and tweaking personally on my part Sunday before getting sign-off from the client Monday. This chillhop/lofi reimagination of Marvin Gayes "I Want You" by Stro Elliot was one of the first tracks Spotify recommended as I got started, and I reached over and put it on repeat after being blown away. It's 8 mins long and before I knew it, I had listened to it for just about the whole 2 hour work session. This dude didn't produce this song. He conducted it. Que it up. This brotha remade this like Dilla and Quincy Jones were collaborating and guiding his hands and ear. I'm now diving into his catalog and seeing he has production with Phonte too (my most underrated mc).
