I was talking to a potential client the other day. They were upset that they had so many tattoos, and couldn’t book jobs Bc some of the tattoos were controversial. When they asked me how I felt about the tattoo choices I made, and if I regretted any of them, my response, “I’m comfortable in my own skin. I’m had to my tattoos. So much, I would probably feel bare without them. I made the choice to not concern myself with the opinions others had of them, Bc they vastly vary. I never chose offenses phrases, pictures, etc. they don’t define me. They aren’t in my head, I’m not consumed by them. If I deserve the job I’ll get it. I can wear a jacket, a covered shoe, put my hair over my earrings. I can be gentle, I can be aggressive. I’m not a victim to my tattoos. I am not all of my choices.
