Equal Rights

Okay let me be strictly clear on this. I am for everyone having the same rights when it comes to marriage equality. Based on the facts that I am not religious and the moment marriage laws were put into state legislations, marriage no longer proved to be just a religious act. Now, stating this to a religious person (at least one who isn't ignorant) they realize then that then yes people should all have the same rights since their religious ceremony is no longer just theirs but everyone's. If these people were realistic marriage laws should be abolished entirely so that no one would be entitled to anything. This would separate church and state once again. My annoyance right now is that I find it hypocritical that this never comes up in articles I read. They don't stand this ground and they show just the same amount of hatred when someone doesn't agree with them. People are entitled to their own opinions too. Whether we agree with them or not we don't have to bash them. We are just spilling more hatred in this world and not seeing the greatest example for future generations.

Playing cards with people who are condescending about everything really makes playing a simple card game not fun at all.

Body Peace

I'm really tired of seeing all this loathing on each other. I think it's hypocritical that all we want is to be accepted yet no one finds the time to just not make a negative comment about a girl. The skinny girls are aware about how skinny they are. The fat girls are aware of how fat they are.The skinny girls more than likely want the curves the big girls have. I was reading the hate on Christina, Britney, Gaga, and all the other famous women who have the money to have fabulous bodies. Who cares?

I know I'm not perfect, I've been known for the back-handed compliments and all of it. I just don't see the reason to sit there and pick apart someone else when I know for a fact I've got cottage cheese in the same parts.

What it really comes down to is that the "skinny" girls we see in the media are Photoshopped and have the constant hounding of their JOB to look like that. Yes, we should change the market but this is what we girls have deemed appropriate. If we want curves, stop buying the stick thin model magazines.

People should just learn that if you're not willing to work out, eat what you want in moderation, and buy clothes that are not made for you, then yes you will never be happy with yourself. If you choose to do those things and it still doesn't work out because it is possible to happen; embrace it and love yourself. We should support each other no matter what shape we are. As my sister says, "Round is a shape, it's called a circle."
