Faz (left) is shown with SOM architect Bruce Graham and a model of the John Hancock Center. The two collaborated closely on the building, which is also featured in the @Google illustration. During his 21-year tenure at SOM, Faz became known for his innovative and groundbreaking work, which allowed for the construction of the John Hancock Center and other major projects. Faz’s legacy endures to this day in the fields of architecture and structural engineering—and on city skylines around the world.
