New 80s Style Film Poster Illustration and Time-lapse Video

I had a challenging, but rewarding time creating a poster illustration with an 80s vibe. It will be the advertising feature for soon-to-be released short film, “The Blue Pendant”.

You can get an overview of my process from my time-lapse video. You can also see how some things just don’t land the first time I lay down a drawing (watch me redraw/repaint the sinister eyeballs 3 times).

This new time-lapse made possible by my new, beautiful iMac computer. So sleek. Much shiny.

Revenge Of The Jedi (1983) Original One Sheet 27 x 41 Inches Folded We also offer linen-backing with folds flatten on our website. —————— Offered here is a VERY rare “Undated” Tri-Folded only mint condition US one sheet for “Revenge Of The Jedi.” BEWARE of fakes with “cloudy” corner in lower right. Also on the undated version the 20th Century Fox logo is a deep blue on originals but faded on fakes. Featuring artwork by #DrewStruzan, this un-dated advance poster is highly sought after by the legions of Star Wars collectors. Basically #GeorgeLucas had the title ‘#RevengeOfTheJedi’ changed to ‘#ReturnOfTheJedi’ after these one sheets had been released, and prior to the release of the film because Jedi warriors are not meant to be vengeful. #Struzan provides the amazing artwork of the menacing #DarthVader engaging in the climactic battle with #LukeSkywalker. Basically there were two original versions of the Revenge of the #Jedi Teaser Advance One Sheet printed in 1982. The first "NO DATE" version was printed only once and was issued exclusively to movie theaters. This version was issued early on before 20th Century Fox had a release date for the film, so the poster does not have "Coming May 25, 1983 to your #galaxy." at the bottom. This version is much, much rarer than the second poster with the date. The Official #StarWars Checklist poster states that there were only a small handful of the "NO DATE" posters made, then Fox decided on a release date for the film, and a second version of the poster WITH THE DATE was printed.
