“now that makes me sound really bratty. winning in arguments isn’t really something i’d be proud of y’know? i wish i could give in like a sweet angel i’m supposed to be.” those words were followed by a tinge of sarcasm but at the same time, reno wasn’t lying. she had hoped she’s someone who gives in during an argument since her stubborn attitude always, without fail, make matters worse. “but anyways, now is not the time to get emotional. it does indeed feels good to be the winner.”

When he put his arm around her, she did not move away. Instead, she leaned against him and rested her head onto his shoulder. "Look at you, doing all sorts of things." She wasn't looking at him when she spoke, her eyes on the black TV screen. "I haven't seen a knight act so bold towards his queen. And I've met many knights personally."

“Am not,” Ra-il stated candidly, though he barely hid his grin when Bora leant into him, “And well, I could always be the first. There’s bound to be a first for everything.” He raised his head slightly, still perfectly at ease as he too stared forth at the TV without putting much thought in mind. “So…wanna get something to eat?” he asked Bora suddenly, turning to her once more as he watched for her reaction.

"Because I own him", Bora clarified, her hands on her knees when he sat down beside her. "Because I own him, I own this house as well and the fortune he has. It's as simple as that." A light chuckle left her lips but did not mean that she wasn't being serious. "So you have to act like a good prince too unless you want me to own your soul."

“You own him?” Ra-il looked up and around, trying to wrap his head around things and failing, “Wow, that’s wild. You do kinda own me though, with the whole knight thing.” He snickered softly before relaxing, running his fingers across the top of the couch to accidentally on purpose wrap an arm around Bora. “I think I’m a really good prince, yeah,” he continued, barely skipping a beat as he whistled quietly to himself, “Being a prince is tiring.”

"Even a little prince has to grow up. Remind me not to pamper you so much from now on." Before he even shot up, Bora had sat up straight again, crossing one leg over the other. "What nonesense are you talking? I like my knight way more than that monster." She motioned her chin towards the hallway. "Now hurry up."

“Aww, really?” Ra-il gave a sigh, before blowing a kiss to Bora cheekily and going off to get a shower. After washing up, he returned out with a towel and rubbed his hair before relaxing on the couch beside Bora. “For a monster like him, he sure seems really chill with you using his place,” he joked, grinning and indicating this was obviously just a joke.

"You behave more like a little prince than a knight sometimes", he own words actually left a smile on her lips for a moment. "I don't know what mountains you are talking about." Bora's eyes rested on the bloodbath inside of the big television screen. Not everything inside her home was a prop, she had to live like humans too after all. "You should finish before Eunho comes back. Can you finish it that fast?"

“Of course, noona, I’ve got 27 of those at home,” Ra-il responded with a smirk, picking up on the reference, “You say it as though you don’t indulge me like one.” His smile did fade slightly when he heard that Eunho was returning, jumping back to his feet before saving the game. “Well, if he’s coming, I’m out. Don’t wanna play gooseberry to you two,” he jested once again, unable to resist rubbing it in a little bit before he got up and gave a stretch, “I’ll take a quick shower, then I’ll go. Don’t miss me too much, ‘kay?”

"But you're in my home." Her look of concern did not fade. It was ironic how such a matter made her worry about his health when she allowed him to play with dragons. Defeated -- or unbothered to complain more -- she laid down on the big couch beside him which he occupied, resting her head onto the armrest and pulling her legs close to her body so that she wouldn't touch him and disturb his game. "Besides, I don't need to boss you around."

“You sure, noona? Cuz the last time I remembered, I’m the knight to you, the queen,” Ra-il shot back flirtily, not even bothering to hide the playful edge in the tone of his voice. 

With Bora, Ra-il had been questing in her land and met multiple strange and fascinating creatures, creatures that were often dangerous to mere mortals like him. These experiences, coupled with how skilful he had gotten wielding a blade made him a continually formidable presence. He was a knight, and never thought for a second to let down the title he had been conferred with. This time it was no different, as Ra-il waved the complaints away nonchalently. “You’re just making a mountain out of a molehill. I’ll be done in a little bit,” he scoffed quickly, barely even paying attention.

Rail certainly was still a child, wasting his time on a game inside of a box. "What's the difference between playing and winning? Your eyes will be all red if you don't stop. You've been sitting in front of this box for hours now."

“You don’t get it, there’s a leaderboard,” scoffed Ra-il, now not even bothering to look at Bora as he cleared the next stage, “If I get first, then nobody would be able to dethrone me. I’d be king of the game.” He raised his hands in fists before shaking them eagerly above his head, returning to the game quickly. “Besides, it’s not like dad would yell at me about it. He’s happy that I spend time at home, mostly,” he added as an afterthought, before raising an eyebrow and pausing the game, turning to Bora, “Are you trying to boss me around so that I’d do things with you?”

"Don't play around too much. You should get some rest every now and then." Cold fingertips brushed through Rail's hair as Bora spoke.

“I don’t think that’s how it works, noona,” scoffed Ra-il, turning his gaze towards her challengingly, “I’m not playing at all. It’s the opposite of playing, I’m winning.” He continued to battle it out with the computer on the gaming system he had so conveniently set up at Bora’s, trying to best his record. It would take a while for Ra-il to even bother getting up, unless Bora pulled one of her tricks to peel his eyes off the screen.
