I was going through a very dark place in my life when I first heard this song. I had dealt with multiple work issues and lost a friend shortly afterwards. I couldn't bring myself to play guitar anymore.

An article popped up for either Rocksound or Alternative Press magazine. It was for a new band out of Australia, female fronted and pop-punk. I was immediately intrigued. The opening lines to Coffee at Midnight brought me in and I knew I bad to learn it on guitar.

Eventually I covered it on my YouTube channel and the band caught wind. They asked if I'd play it with them if I ever came to a show. I was so shocked and humbled! Over time, I covered their entire 5 song Ep, Sidewinder.

Just a few months ago, they signed to Hopeless records and toured the US with Neck Deep. I made it to a show, though I was unable to play with them due to management issues. I still loved being in the pit, belting out every word!

We talked for almost 20 minutes about my covers and how much they meant to me. They were so down to Earth and amazing! They plan on headlining the US and that I'd definitely be able to play with them when the time comes.

I'd say this song saved my life, but it's actually the band itself...
