Spearheading a “park your car” campaign Ford Europe president Stuart Rowley says the world would be a better place if more people gave up driving and walked and cycled instead.
The head of Ford Europe says people should drive less, and walk and bike more, especially for the majority of trips under 3km.
Even company president Bill Ford, the great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford, says to avoid global gridlock, we all need to drive less and not add more roads / lanes. He says what many of us have been saying: a traffic jam of zero-emission vehicles is still a traffic jam.
Here’s hoping Ford gets into electric and acoustic bikes. :)
