    A heavy sigh falls from blossom lips. She’s squinting at the other through the closed gate to the Clown Cove boardwalk. Rain beams down and lightning flashes on the horizon of the ocean. “Fine. I’ll give you ten minutes to look for what you lost, but then I’m shutting this shit down. For real.” With a grumble, she jams the key in the lock and swings open the gate.

      bouncing around in excitement, chloe makes her way to the quad in the college court yard where she plops herself down on the blanket that she spread out before pulling out the food that she had organised for her and her girlfriend, she could not wait to finally have some beca and chloe time, something that had been a rarity lately. letting out a yawn, chloe placed her bag behind her and shifted down to place her head on it as she settled down and waited for the brunette to come. it was a short time later when chloe felt a familiar lips on her own. opening her eyes, chloe squinted as she took in the shape “oh hey babe, what was that for.?”

      Fuck. Instead of answering, she stands and moves over to their supplies ( nearly depleted ) and deflates immediately. Water was fine out here in the wilderness. Just boiling some river water on a fire-- food, on the other hand. She knew how to survive gunshot wounds and infections, knew how to kill in the most and least efficient ways. Hunting seemed like another world entirely. But she could try? Or they could go to the cities and scavenge if they could. 

        “I’ll take care of it, princess. Don’t worry, okay?”
