Hello everyone. The SBD mods have decided that we will not be accepting any new prompts for the time being. We are taking this time to streamline how this event will function going forward. We thank you all for your participation and patience and will keep you all updated on any changes as they happen.

April prompts are now available here! Take a look at the available prompts here! We still have some March prompts that remain unclaimed here!

- All of the prompts available for the month will be shared with the authors and artists.

- You’ll have one day before you can claim a prompt.

- You’ll receive another email with the claim link the following day. It’ll be open until the end of the month. The link will also be on the slides but it won’t be open until you receive that email.

- Any prompts that remain unclaimed by the end of the month will be rolled over to the next month’s prompt list.

Rules:

- You will not be allowed to officially start until both an artist and an author have claimed the work.

- We encourage you to wait until you’ve met your partner before you start so you’re both on the same page.

- You’ll be notified when your claim goes through and when you have a partner.

- You can claim three prompts at a time.

- If you claim three during this month, you will not be allowed to claim more until you post at least one of your works.

- You can’t talk about the prompt you’ve claimed until you have a partner. Then it’s free to discuss publicly.

Blind Date Information

The Stucky Blind Date Program is where big bangs meet prompt memes. 

Prompters submit prompts and once a month they’ll be posted for authors and artists to claim them. It’s a very casual event, with authors and artists coming and going as they please. Since it’s a blind date, authors and artists won’t know who the other person is until they’ve both claimed a prompt, then their identities will be revealed so they can start their collaboration! 

Note: You cannot start working on your prompt until you have a partner. This is to keep the collaboration fair and collaborative, rather than have someone jump in half way through the project. 

Prompts are released once a month. 

Authors (Bards) can do no more than three prompts at a time. 

Artists (Muses) can do no more than five prompts at a time. 

All prompts for 2020 must be completed by January 1st, 2021, except the December prompts. Additional time will be given. 

Authors and artists are not required to claim a prompt.

Prompters are notified once the prompt has been filled via tumblr. 

You cannot create art or fic, beta, or pinch hit for your own prompt.

Authors (Bards)

Fics must be at least 10,000 words. 

Authors can do no more than three prompts at a time. 

All prompts for 2020 must be completed by January 1st, 2021, except the December prompts. Additional time will be given. 

Authors and artists are not required to claim a prompt.

Artists (Muses)

You must complete two images (or the appropriate equivalent) and a banner. 

Artists can do no more than five prompts at a time. 

All prompts for 2020 must be completed by January 1st, 2021, except the December prompts. Additional time will be given. 

Authors and artists are not required to claim a prompt.

Betas (Wing Men)

Betas and Pinch Hitters are roles that are only used when called upon. 

Authors receive a list of betas upon claiming a prompt. You can be taken off this list at any point or time, but you’ll need to notify us when you’ve reached your personal limit. 

Betas can say no to any prompt they are asked to beta for. 

Pinch Hitters (Speed Daters)

Betas and Pinch Hitters are roles that are only used when called upon. 

Pinch Hitters are called upon when an artist or author can no longer take the prompt. 

You’ll be sent an email with the prompt (as well as if they need an artist or an author) when a pinch hitter is required. It’s up to you whether you take us up on that request or not.

Participants under 18

This bang is open to all ages! However, those under 18 cannot post mature or explicit content within the bang. Authors, artists, betas, and pinch hitters under 18 may only create/claim G or T fics. 

People over 18 who write or claim G or T fics written by minors may not change the rating. Authors paired with under 18 participants may not write mature or explicit scenes of any nature with their partner or beta.
