what are ur thots on the lok hate w/ in the fandom like i've noticed whilst on my deep dive of youtube, half the videos are just about how bad lok is when in reality it's just Different from atla???
i mean i think it would be impossible to NOT be disappointed by it in some way just bc they really Hit It Out Of The Park with atla but i still love it! i agree it’s just a different show with its own tone and themes. i dont think thats a bad thing.
i remember watching it as it aired and the way nickelodeon kinda nerfed it and how it was in danger of being cancelled etc was weird and probably put some sorta strain on how the overall arc played out. i mean yeah i have problems with the plot but i say that as someone with hindsight and whos watched avatar like 389124 times. u just have to accept that they are Different
also im afraid i will never again experience the joy of having korrasami confirmed out of absolutely batshit NOWHERE. looking back/rewatching as im older i totally see the buildup but lok aired 2012-2014. that was when i was in middle school and i was stupid and i didnt know i was gay
