This application is for UC Davis students who are interested in participating in SLC. The Student Lobby Conference (SLC) is an annual event that brings UC students to the State Capitol for the opportunity to develop lobbying skills, learn more about issues affecting students and California higher education, and directly engage elected officials on these issues. SLC 2016 is April 16-18 in Sacramento! Note: This conference is on picnic day weekend and if you apply and are selected, you will be required to attend all 3 days (Sat, sunday, monday) of the conference.

The Student Lobby Conference (SLC) is an annual event that brings UC students to the State Capitol for the opportunity to develop lobbying skills, learn more about issues affecting students and California higher education, and directly engage elected officials on these issues.
This is a great chance for you to learn about student advocacy and gain the skills to go out and meet with senators and assemblymembers. No experience necessary!
