Richard had one thing which he enjoyed most at U.A. and it wasn’t going to classes, it was sleeping in the nice little collection of trees which were scattered around the school grounds. However, because these naps would sometimes overlap with lunch, he often packed a meal in his bag which he left sitting at the bottom of the tree he was napping on for the day, because if it rolled off the branch it wouldn’t be fun making sure his things hadn’t broken. Usually there was no problem with this, he would wake up whenever and have a nice meal, but the last few days a little bandit had kept getting into his bag, somehow even though it was zipped, and munching down on his precious food. It was already awful enough when he had to abandon his bag to run from teachers, but to have it just eaten under his nose, now that would just not stand.
So, he set up a little trap using his Quirk, the threads which came from his body were buried somewhat deep into the ground, and ran all the way up the tree to him while he pretended to sleep on a branch up above. A few of their tips poked through the grass, blending almost perfectly, and with his net set up to snare his prey he just enjoyed the sound of the leaves in the wind, until finally the sound came of his threads reacting to movement. He didn’t open his eyes, just listened, and the moment he was certain they were underneath the branch he was resting on, he pulled the trigger, and all of his threads came crashing through the dirt to form a net and nicely capture the invader of “his” territory. With a quiet chuckle he turned over on the branch, pleased with himself, expecting to see a rabbit or something captured below, just for that chuckle to turn to a disappointed sigh.
“Well.. you’re not an animal.”
