IT WAS THE YEAR AFTER she’d lost Oliver, && she hadn’t really been planning on doing anything in terms of dating for a really long time. But her roommate, as annoying as she was, had actually convinced her to do something with a guy just to try it out ( if she hated it, she wasn’t planning on doing it again for much longer ). Carter seemed like a sweet guy too – why not try it out??

My friend Tommy took me once && spent the whole time messing around with me, but I don’t think that’s an accurate representation of what it’s like.” Dinah said with a small smile, tucking a bit of her hair behind her ear. It had to be clear that she was nervous, it wasn’t like she had a great track record with the whole dating thing, but she wasn’t going to make a mess of herself. She could fake her smiles well enough in case something came up that she didn’t want to talk about. “Point && shoot, right??”
