hello carol!! i hope ur having a good christmas break! mine is going good sleep wise but study wise? not so great.. i’m trying to get myself to just sit down and Do It, and it sound so silly but i really don’t want to? i’d much rather relax and chill out but also i have an essay due in jan + 3 exams to revise for and they’re my first ever exams in uni and i want do well in them so djdmzm. what do you do when you really don’t feel like studying? any tips would be appreciated! 💗
hi angel!! it really depends if i’m like Not Feeling it out of sheer laziness or if i genuinely need a break - if i cba to do it just bc i’m not in the mood, i usually try to power through anyway bc... well lets face it, no one is ever really going to be in the mood for and look forward to studying when they could be lounging in bed and chilling instead, so i just try to get over it and get things done, bc if i only did things when i felt like it then v little would get done if i’m honest lmao!! this is especially the case if i have deadlines or something important like exams coming up, bc i also have exams in january to revise for rip. if i actually need a break bc i haven’t had one in a while then i’ll just take the afternoon/evening/whole day off, or mostly relax but do a bit of light studying by reviewing flashcards or something. idk if these tips (do they?? even count as tips??? idek anymore) are useful or not but i hope they helped at least a little!! tl;dr sometimes u just don’t feel like doing work but u just gotta power through and get it done bc if u want good grades u gotta work for it!! that being said, if u feel worn out then just take a break bc u don’t want to risk burn out, and u should take good care of urself 💫
