1: Why did you start role playing?

pretty sure boredom was a key factor to it. i saw people do it on neopets and i wanted to try too.

3: Is there anything challenging about writing your muse?

i guess apparently i need to show her flaws off a bit more. i’m doing my best to do that, it’s just doing it cleanly and in character that i’m more concerned about.

5: What has been your favourite thread?

i don’t really have a favorite!! tho her threads w/ darius have been good but thats me being bias LMAO

7: What is your preferred roleplaying style and why? (semi para/para/mirror etc)

im not really picky on style since i tend to switch, so i guess mirror?

8: If you knew your muse in RL would you be friends or enemies?

i hope we could be friends LMAO

Vergil and Maka meet at the library, naturally. Neither takes the initiative to start a conversation very much, but there's a sort of mutual respect between library-goers who occupy the same space quietly. Plus, Vergil has a natural aura (or perhaps not so natural, as he's refined it for years) that intimidates away most rowdy and unwanted company.

Most.

Soul is not "most".

He still tries to get Maka to see the daylight more than, you know, once or twice a month or never if she had a great deal of say in the matter. He does so one day while Vergil is present, and, witnessing this exchange, Vergil decides to intervene on Maka's behalf (he knows the feel, kid). He may or may not (read: definitely does) passively insult Soul along the way.

Maka surprises him by jumping to her partner's defense. Vergil is suitably impressed and more embarrassed than he'd willingly admit, and though he cannot bring himself to apologize, he does relent and offer ("if this rapscallion must interrupt such an important task as studying") to take them out for lunch.

For the kids, it turns out the old man with the weird hair isn't so bad. (Not near as crazy as Stein-sensei.) And for Vergil, he's just glad the girl has at least one good friend that's not a book. That was what got him through, after all.

He decides afterward that it might be a good idea to encourage not sitting in a library all day. If he were being honest with himself, he might admit that isolating himself among his books was, in the long run, more harmful than helpful.
