Because protomonster told me about the asks for some informations about our light setup I decided to make a little answer.
There is actually no secret in any of the light rigs and any photographer would be able to tell you how it's made.
The first picture shows a little part of my studio. You can see the beauty dish and the stip light I use most of the times. We use to make the background black so the white paper roll is just away. You can see I have a different variation of diffusers. I rarely use everyone.
The second and the third picture shows our main light rig. It's a simple one light rig. I use a walimex vc-300 flash lights and a 42cm beauty dish. The light is most of the time pretty high and a little bit from the right.
The fourth and the fifth picture shows what I do if we need a little bit separation from the background. I use a simple strip light from a back-left angle. Most of the time about 1-2 EV stronger than the dish.
And that's the whole magic. Afterwards some photoshop action like desaturation and sharper and that's just it. pretty simple if you know what to do.
