So just under a week the #studio7bycartier @cartier at the @saatchi_gallery came to an end. The exhibition featured a chosen few cartier lovers like myself and our love story with the brand and their iconic pieces ..... I should have posted this earlier but these pictures of Grace Kelly wearing the trinity ring are iconic and also tells a story for me .... approximately 30 years ago when I was working as a model and flight attendant when I started earning money I bought my mother a cartier trinity ring at the time it’s cost just under £300 and I could only afford to buy the small model and I was worried she wouldn’t like it as it was plain I would soon learn it was a classic and iconic piece .... sadly when my mother passed I was given some of her jewellery and was fortunate to get the finite ring back and not only is it a classic, iconic piece now it holds memories of my mother and I have a vast jewellery collection but this “plain” piece is ultimately one of my favourite pieces ..... I was so happy to be a part of the exhibition and share my story and you can see a piece of jewellery is not just a piece of jewellery it’s memories ....... . .
