These are some of my final images from our studio lighting workshop.
GLASS STUDIO LIGHTING WORKSHOP
In todays workshop we were given the chance to split up into groups and try out different lighting techniques for photographing a glass object. My group was given the opportunity to experiment with the Hasselblad camera using the darkfield illumination technique. I found this to be really interesting but also quite scary as I knew how expensive the camera was. This was my first time experimenting with glass lighting, especially the darkfield illumination technique and I found that I really loved the result. I am planning on using this technique when shooting for my glass project.
STUDIO LIGHTING WORKSHOP
In this workshop we were given the chance to experiment with different types of studio lighting. Some of these included using an extra large soft box, gobo lighting, a poly-board light wall, superhero lighting, clam shell lighting, an octobox, overhead lighting and also ring flash. This will be useful in the coming months for any studio work for different options on how to light my subjects when shooting portraits.
