Kindness isn't kindness if you don't have it for yourself
6/2/23
I haven’t updated my studyblr/bookblr since last year but I’m back and giving a rundown of my day and to-do list. I was at school today and was assigned a lot of work which is usual and for one of my classes, my teacher used my assignment as an example for other students to know what they’re supposed to do and I felt honored honestly. I came home and did a mid workout (wasn’t intense), worked on both legs and arms and I feel pretty good.
My to-do list for today:
English SBA group google meet at 5:30 (I’m in it right now)
English comparison essay on 2 poems
History essay questions
Principles of Business 2020 CSEC p1
EDPM Assignment 2 to complete
Geography SBA draft to complete
Soil leaching research and make small notes
Also, currently reading Good Girl Bad Blood and I’m hooked to this series.
I have until 12am to complete all or at least the first 3 tasks which is in approximately (5hrs and 34mins). Wish me luck!
(Damn I wish I had discipline)

Given that I failed the first time, here we go again!
I had Swedish class and I'm still struggling a little with ett and en, but overall I love learning the language.
Finish my 3 assignments for my media class! It wasn't as hard as I thought it'll be.
Let's admit that there will always be that one class you would love to drop and refuse to attend. If you can, if you are bold enough, on the worst days, skip it. Do the work. Skip it. Stay on top of it. College is hard.
So what if you don't have a perfect attendance? Are you frustrated? Angry? Disgusted? No? Good job. You've lived another day.
The thing is... College is a marathon. It's strategy and it's making space to slow down and think of your body and mind. Make the miles but decide your pace.
It's impractical to say DONT TAKE A MENTAL HEALTH BREAK. In fact, it's inhumane to have no policy for mental health breaks in colleges.
28.1.18 | I‘m all about Adorno at the moment, and i‘m not sure whether i like or despise him. I think he‘s a genius but i also think that whatever kind of pills he took, he should not have taken them... I‘ve seen the greatest Showman on Friday and it was kind of not so funny because i kept analysing the movie on popcultural terms and on gender roles and i thought it was really badly done...
January routine heavily inspired by @munirastudies, Quotes are from Shaykh Abdul Hakim Murad's contentions. Except for the discipline one, that's me.
