Hey! You mentioned taking notes on an iPad. I'm getting one for next semester. I'll probably try out Notability for taking notes, but what would you say are the pros and cons of using an iPad? Thanks! 💕

I actually use notability for most of my notes! My school provided it for free, and it’s been working so far. 

After getting an iPad, my backpack was much lighter, which is a major plus. (Because of my parents, I value my health, and a heavy backpack was definitely not good for me). In addition, iPad notes are much easier to keep organized. I have folders for each subject, and my notes are way neater. (I also use my iPad as a homework agenda with another app: Wunderlist)

However, I do feel like I’ve been somewhat less productive after getting an iPad. In school, I sometimes get distracted when notifications pop up, or when other students are playing games. My eyes are also more tired when I need to study at night or in the early morning. Not to mention how handwriting notes imprints concepts better than typing them.
