i am now learning kanji and it is indeed pretty difficult. pretty because i have some favorite kanji characters like 語 (i love the way it's written!). although it's hard but the moment you've studied a character and somehow bumped into it and you were able recognize it, the feeling is rewarding and it makes me want to learn more!
