I'm 36 and I've been studying from time to time after work just for the pleasure of it my whole life, maths and science during the last year. Last week, I decided to do it more «officially» and I started online classes with official evaluations in order to study again all the maths and science I've forgotten the last 18 years. Hopefully, I'll be able to take online astrophysics and meteorology uni classes after that. My friends think I'm crazy. Perhaps. Looking for some support online then ;-p. I'm surely not the only adult passionate enough about sciences to restart studying them while working. Am I?

Working in Healthcare While Pursuing a Masters: 8 Top Tips
As a healthcare worker, you have a lot of responsibilities. Add a master’s degree into the mix, and it might feel like you don’t have enough time to sleep, eat, shower, or even take a breath. Many people have managed it, though, and come out the other side with an excellent career. If you’re a healthcare worker who is also pursuing a master’s, use these eight top tips. (more…)

This depression should have something to do with my hormones. I don’t know if I’m in denial and just trying to find something to consider the cause of the depression because-being-depressed-for-no-reason-makes-absolutely-no-sense-to-me or if the two really are related.
Anyway yea I have a theory. And I’ll run it past the doc to see if this has nothing to do with my hormones and menstrual cycle cos then that is what we should be addressing. I have been googling and it appears the meds for such a disorder and depression are the same. 😏🙃
That aside. I slept for most of today. Again. I have a theory. Something about that acupuncture yesterday unlocked my sleeping something. I hadn’t slept like that in a while. I went to the gym to try and get my energy levels up. Running saves lives. It saves my life ❤️
I’m trying to get back to the swing of things. I’ve read of people saying depression stole their motivation. I get it. So I’ve been writing to myself to remind myself of all the things I hold dear. My hopes and dreams I can’t afford to not be motivated to work towards. This will pass and if I have not worked hard for the things I want regret will kill me. I do not want that.
So help me God. I have two big goals for the year. One academic the other career wise. The career one depends on the academic one. So really Sane, get your shit together. You cannot drop the ball.
Oh work is great hey. That’s a huuuuuuge bonus for me. I’m in love with my employer. Not an actual person, silly. Just the company. Yea I’m even considering taking this company home to meet my parents. THAT serious. That’s a ray of sunshine for me.
Sunshine. *sigh* 🙃😘☺️💕✨
There have to be more people out there who are studying and working at the same time. A lot of my problems are going to be getting that balance and it's probably something I'm going to talk about on here a lot. My tag for it is '8 days a week' as I'll be working 3 days and in college 5 days. (Obviously doubling up on one day)
"I have 67 books to read in this semester but three out of six subjects end in November and we'll probably have exams before Christmas."
