What's the deal with this blog?

So Ellen and I are super close friends.  We went to high school together, are now at different colleges and text each other pretty regularly about anything and everything.  However, Ellen is currently in China, and by the time she comes back I'll have left for Ghana.  This means we can't text for the next six months.  So... we'll be "texting" via tumblr about pretty much everything: feminism, fun things, cute things, FEELINGS, books, tv (coughspnlivetextingcough) etc.  Pretty much all random musings.

The icon picture is of birds because they are cute and friends and we are cute and friends.
