So u know how British anthropologists used to document the habits of so-called exotic cultures? If anyone knows of such an ethnography for the Victorians please let me know because idk I think it would make studying English Lit a lot easier for students in postcolonial countries. Like ok I’m reading their diaries but idk how they managed their periods or brushed their teeth or went to the bathroom in those hoop skirts u feel me?
