Finding some old decorations while on a run, Dani brings them back; setting up everything she found including a small artificial tree for Carl and Judith to enjoy. Still working on hooking everything up, she hums softly to herself, nestling some hastily wrapped presents under the tree. Hoping to get it done in time, she keeps glancing back over her shoulder, grinning mischievously to herself.
Rick pushed the door open and was about to call out when he was stopped in his tracks by the change of decor. He looked around, a faint smile tugging at his lips as he made his way into the living room to find Dani near the tree. “You’ve been busy.” His eyebrows quirked up as a smile spread across his lips. If he hadn’t been so delighted with what she’d done, he might’ve felt guilty he hadn’t thought to do the same for his kids. “Where’d you find all this?”
