Sabine nods going to slip on some shoes as she tries to take in deep breaths. “Grab the bag my love I left it in the hallway.” She says before stopping and putting her hand on the wall stopping. She takes in a few deep breaths before heading out the door with Tara. She smiles as she watches Tara start to panic realizing this is happening now. “That’s good because I was too tired to go Christmas shopping so I didn’t have all your Christmas presents. Instead I’ll just give you our little Esme.”

She makes her way over to the car and slowly gets in at the passengers side before she takes in a few more breaths. “Okay I’m going to call my father and your sister to tell them- oh and your father as well I’ll just start calling you drive and get us there as fast as we can.”

The cybernetic man had arrived in Chicago under the knowledge that this place wasn’t very peaceful. Not at all. In fact, some kidnappings seemed to be going on here. Well that needed to end and innocents needed to be saved before life was lost. 

He went where he was supposed to be meeting with others he hadn’t met before, working the case. Heard they were good at their job, like he was. He hoped that was the case. When he arrived, a polite smile appeared on his features. “What can you tell me about the case?”

She had been working late and half expected to come home to Tara sleeping. Instead, it was fairly obvious that Tara was drunk. Smiling, she set her keys and purse down on the table by the door. “Did you have a party without me?”

As Enid sat across from Tara at the other side of the room, she noticed that the other’s eyes were dropping closed.  It made Enid smile to herself as she shifted her glance back to the papers laid out in front of them.  But when Tara said she did good, Enid looked up as the older girl stood up.  “Thanks,” she smiled, glancing back down to the papers.  But, they did need sleep and it was late - but Enid wasn’t tired.  Tara could be but they’ve been spending a lot of time together, and who knows what tomorrow would be like for them.

Enid’s eyes drifted over to Tara’s hand on her shoulder before the younger woman’s eyes locked onto Tara’s eyes.

Lingering in Enid’s eyes sparked something that she saw in Tara that she hadn’t felt in…years.  And her heart raced as she felt her cheeks turn a bright pink, she knew she needed to make a move, and fast.

Her hands pressed against Tara’s shoulders, pushing the other woman back into the wall behind her, her eyes shut as lips brushed softly against Tara’s mouth.  Her fingers loosened against the other’s shoulders, sliding down her arms as she kissed the girl.

And it was a little surprise to Enid that Tara had given in, and her hands fell to Enid’s waist.

Her heart raced rapidly within her chest, wanting every second of this.  Or had it been just the heat of the summer?

While the kiss was indeed, hot just as the summer sun, Enid slowed for a moment, breathing a little as she pulled back though she kept her eyes closed. “I-I’m sorry....”

Milton hadn’t talked much to the members of Rick’s group he recognized - or even those new ones for that matter - when they had made their way to Alexandria. He largely kept to himself, kept his head down and did as he was told, and tried hard not to step on any toes nor make any friends or bring up any touchy subjects, but that didn’t stop his history with The Governor - and now living with those that man had actively harmed - from eating Milton alive. 

“I don’t know what The Governor, er, Brian... or whatever he called himself, did to you and your family, but I feel the need to apologize. I feel... somewhat responsible for his actions.”

Lena hadn’t been living in Alexandria long, she’d been living with Negan for the past three years and felt like she was starting over yet again. She imagined this is what it would have felt like moving in the middle of the school year or something, only worse because everyone adored her family. Lena was sitting by the garden area writing in her journal, trying to get her thoughts out of her mind. She didn’t notice the woman that had approached till she glanced up from her papers. Lena blushed slightly startled, “ Tara, right?” Lena asked. She had seen her around before, Rick had told Lena her name and how long he’d known the woman, but not much else.

Prue fumbled for her phone as it buzzed in her bag, pulling it out to see a message from Tara. She stopped walking and rolled her eyes with a snort. Only Tara would send a message like this out of the blue.
