Akflsdgldfgf one of the funniest things to me about looking at my older Deltarune art is that you can see when I was first enlightened to fat Battat (shout out to AceOfSpades on twitter for enlightening me lol).
Warning for incoming character design rambles:
In my head canon, most Pippins have a similar build to him to mirror the cubeness of a d6 dice. Square shape language for the Pippins! But I do like maintaining much of the triangular shape language their sprites have, since it conveys the sharper edge that shows their more unpredictable and mischievous aspects. Technically, the sprite is very diamond shaped in the body, and I draw their pupils and irises diamond shaped. A diamond does kinda look like a mix between a square and triangle so it all works out lol.
Battat in particular is really interesting when you compare his design to his Mike costume's design, which is very rounded and circular... lots of implications that can be pondered there :]
tldr: pippins are weird little guys, so awesome and shaped <3

hi this is um. sunlitmcgee aka sunlit struggles Hi just. wanted to say here. we have been rotating your tenna fic in our head all day at work. and truly just wanted to once again say that it is one of the most beuatiful depictions of just. deltarune in general. that we've seen. and i personally am just in awe of your grasp of tenna and hisrelationship with kris and the fun gang but especially kris and his love for them and. and. and also gaster. big fan of that gaster bit at the end. thag guy. what a guy
