Can’t remember where I found a list of recommendations/influences (?) by Kyo.
It’s a list of 30 items and most of them are albums: it’s been sitting on my desktop for a while.
Kyo’s list begins with Aion-Human Griefman (1990).
Aion has been credited (among others) with pioneering the visual kei movement.
Genre is thrash/speed metal. 🤘🏽💀
It spans 58:41. ✔️
Starts and ends heavily and abruptly ✔️
There’s a track that’s just a guitar solo (Peter) ✔️
Surrealistic cover art. ✔️
I dig it. 💀👌🏽
Love fast songs.
Vocals are on point: raw and they’d go well with punk tracks.
It’s a good listen as an album. Can’t say I’d pick out any specific track and listen to it on the regular.
Also listened to Deathrash Bound (1989) since I read that Human Griefman is “basically Deathrash Bound” with different vocals, different lyrics, and some other small changes in track titles and order. Mmm… they’re different albums.
