what is it with this show and fucked up parallels. to wit:

in ‘39 graves’, in an effort to give everyone an out from the 3some, Eliot says ‘come on, we were all messed up on *emotion magic* we deserve a pass.’ 

in ‘escape from the happy palace’, in an effort to give them both an out from the Mosaic timeline, Eliot says ‘we were just injected with a half century of emotions, so i get that maybe you’re not thinking clearly.’ 

why’s Eliot gotta be the one falling on his metaphorical sword in these situations.
