He was down on the beach and I felt I was at a safe distance until he climbed the hill. So quickly I was in harms way. Maybe 20 feet away and coming straight for me. I had thought I had met my end when this 11 point elk came up the hill and decided to come my direction. I almost went down as a stupid tourist in Yellowstone for getting to close to this big elk. It was my lucky day.
