There was a sign warning tourists not to throw coins in the water at other rivers, and there wasn’t any coins in the rivers. Great, I thought, but those warning signs sort of ruin the beautiful landscapes. This meandering river (or creek?) which I found just gorgeous didn’t have any warning signs. Look close in the water. God help us..... why do humans feel the need to throw damn coins in every single pool of water? And Icelandic people can’t keep putting warning signs at every bends—that would totally ruin the beautiful landscapes—but also, they have just too many. Imagine...... Honestly, respect nature and water. So on my ride today I was thinking it was a bit chilly this morning (65 in the desert with no direct sun is cold) then this girl passes me in full tri kit (sleeveless jersey and shorts). My first thought...I could cut glass with my nipples right now so WTF lady?? It ain’t that warm!! #damntourists
