There's one spot in StuyTown where the buildings frame the Empire State Building and it looks so close -- like it's just across the street. To get the best vantage point you have to climb over the fence and creep through the foliage (sorry guys -- it's what photographers do for their art.) Today the sun was shining on the buildings with that gorgeous golden autumn light. A fast moving storm was bringing dark grey clouds in from the north and there was the Empire State Building all the up by the sun with that dark sky rolling in. It clouded up real fast and then rained hard taking most everyone by surprise. I don't know why I'm telling you all this but maybe it's because this shot is all I got to show for all that beautiful light.
